What we do
Seed to sale, on one contract
Inputs on credit, agronomy in the field, and a price agreed before planting. Sold as one package because the parts do not work alone.
Renewed Hope
₦550 billion behind Nigerian smallholders
The Federal Government programme to lift national grain output from 11 million tonnes to 25 million. Flagged off in Zaria, July 2026.
Impact
656,721 acres, counted
Where we work, what grows there, and how the figures are put together.
Zaria · Abuja · Nairobi
Over 400,000 smallholder farmers across Nigeria and Kenya. Certified inputs on credit, agronomists in the field, and a buyer already waiting at harvest.
Implementation partner to the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Bank of Agriculture on the ₦550 billion Renewed Hope Smallholder Agricultural Financing Programme.
Where we stand today
The arithmetic of a small farm
A smallholder can do everything right and still lose. Buy uncertified seed because it is what the market had. Apply fertiliser late because credit arrived late. Then meet a broker at the farm gate who names a price on the day the crop must move, and take it, because grain does not wait.
Four separate problems, and no farmer solves them one at a time.
So we solve all four at once.
We deliver all four as one package, carried until harvest and settled from the crop.
Improved seed, fertiliser and crop protection, delivered before the rains at a price fixed the day they are issued.
We carry the cost of those inputs until harvest. Farmers repay from the crop, and the money funds the next farmer. Nothing is a handout.
Extension officers walk the plots through the season — soil testing, spacing, pest control, weather advisory. Advice arrives before it is needed, not after.
We buy the harvest at an agreed minimum price, clean and grade it, and pay by mobile money within 24 hours of delivery.
Take away any one of the four and the other three stop working. That is why we do not sell them separately.
Our largest programme
The Renewed Hope Smallholder Agricultural Financing Programme puts ₦550 billion behind Nigerian smallholders, with the Bank of Agriculture financing and Arzikin Noma delivering. Over 10 million bags of fertiliser. Improved seed and crop protection. A guaranteed minimum price so no farmer is forced to sell into a collapsing market. More than a third of beneficiaries will be women.
The flag-off was held in Zaria, on 17 July 2026, where our head office has been since 2021.

Beyond the farm gate
With the Central Bank of Nigeria and Mastercard, we put over 100,000 debit cards into the hands of farmers across Kano, Kaduna, Bauchi, Plateau and Benue. A farmer who can be paid electronically can be paid on time, keep a record, and build the credit history that a cash economy denies them.
Where we work
Hover or tab through a state to see the farmers, acreage and value chains behind it.
Illustrative data. Six states are confirmed from public record. The remaining seven and all figures are placeholders pending confirmation from Arzikin Noma.
For prospective partners
Move the slider to the acreage you are considering. The working is shown underneath, so you can check it.
Ready to put these numbers to work?
Tell us the acreage, the crop and the states you have in mind. We will come back with what it takes to deliver it.

On the record
The programme aligns with the administration's strategy of expanding domestic food production rather than relying on food imports.
Abubakar Kyari
Minister of Agriculture and Food Security
Reported by The Guardian Nigeria
Farm inputs were delivered in time for the planting season, so the financing reaches farmers when it can still change the harvest.
Ayo Sotinrin
Managing Director, Bank of Agriculture
Reported by The Guardian Nigeria
Success will not be measured by the number of bags distributed or communities reached, but by healthier harvests and stronger rural economies.
